CIMS division of Adult Cardiac Surgery continues to be a leader in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery with clinical interests and expertise in the operative treatment of coronary artery disease, the treatment of structural heart disease and heart transplants.

Approaches for adult cardiac surgery includes operative treatment of valvular heart disease like valve repair and valve preservation, as well as valve replacement by standard or minimally invasive approaches.

Apart from that aortic surgery program includes open operative approaches, as well as endovascular approaches for all portions of the aorta.
